Whit this title I don't think I need to explain more. Most of the passionate crafters out there have heard or have one of these machines. Me, I have the cricut expression, and let me tell you, this is the best machine in the world. There is so much you can do with it, the sky is the limit. I just got these two new cartridges in the mail today, and I can't wait to start cutting with these. As you may know I'm a crafter, but also a preschool teacher, and you know the results when you combine these two traits. I can't wait to start making new resources for the upcoming school year. As soon as I start making new things I'll let you all know. For now ejnoy with me the little party I'm having for receiving these wonderful cartridges.

So if you are like me, really passionate about crafts and all that follows, I bet you are familiar with "the best magazine" out there.... Martha Stewart Living
I decided is the best magazine out there, because I subscribed in December... and every month I wait, I count the days, for this magazine to arrive... And I got the real deal, the real magazine, not the digital one, because for me the whole experience is different... it's so not the same to go through pages, to feel them in your fingers, and that magazine smell is priceless.
Well
anyways... if you are not subscribed yet, and you have been thinking about it, or some time ago you had the urge to purchase one issue... take it from me... you need this magazine in your life... I has everything... seasonal stuff, recipes, organization tips, tips for planting and gardening, tips for when you are buying fruits... etc... etc... etc...
I had to share this obsession.... so you can have it too...
DIY Flower Crown Tutorial
Hello everyone, today I will be guiding you to make your own flower crown.
The materials you will need are fairly simple, to use and to buy.
What you will need:
3 types of ribbon, any color that goes with your flower, I used about a yard and a halve for this flower crown because I like the ribbons to hang loose on the back when I tie them. |
Fabric scissors and regular ones. |
Glue gun. |
Artificial flowers. |
You will also need felt. Any color that goes with your flower or ribbon. You just need small pieces. |
The first thing you need to do is tie a knot, this knot will be located about 1/2 a yard from any of the ends of your ribbons. |
Another look of the braid and knot. |
Now take off the stems of the flowers and cut the little tube thingy that is left. |
Cut your yarn to small pieces, kind of like these. |
Close up of little piece of yarn on the back... and some hot glue spill :s |
Note that the flowers are very close together, that is because when you put them on and they take the curve of the head, you can see empty spaces... and that's not pretty. |
This is not the most beautiful backing in the world, but I guarantee your forehead wont be hurting during or when you take it off. |
End result... I love it.... and of course... Scandal on the background |
